Earlier today we published information received regarding the position of Mayor for the Borough of Point Fortin. We received such information from a known source and matched it with several Facebook postings
We hereby wish to inform the public that any information regarding a NEW Mayor of Point Fortin is unconfirmed and is therefore inaccurate at this time.
We have been subsequently informed by a reliable source, no choice for Mayor of the Borough has been made and same cannot be made, since the Aldermen for the Council has not been sworn in. It is the elected members of council together with the serving aldermen who will vote to elect a New Mayor.
