DRIVE-BY KILLING IN POINT

The Point Fortin community was startled a few hours ago (Thursday 12th September) with the drive-by killing of a man who appeared to be of South American Origin.
Social Media posts went ablaze upon news spreading throughout the community.
Though details are still sketchy, concerns are being raised regarding the influx of “Spanish” in the community.
In one video someone is heard saying, “It have so much Spanish, yuh doh know who d F— is who”. This raises speculation as to whether this is another “Spanish on Spanish hit”
The shooting took place after 9pm in the vicinity of ABC roundabout, opposite KFC. This type of occurrence is not common to Point Fortin, however, a few months ago there was another killing is the same area involving another vendor. That killing resulted from a fight.
Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage.
