3 CAR MIDNIGHT MASHUP

Just about midnight on Friday 25th October 2019, in the vicinity of the Guapo River, it was reported that a Nissan Tida, with a female driver, heading south towards Point Fortin and a Mitsubishi Lancer heading in the opposite direction, collided, causing the Tida to spin into another Mitsubishi Lancer, heading north towards La Brea.

The right side front wheel of the Lancer making initial contact with the Tida was ripped apart from the vehicle but remained in the roadway. Both Lancer vehicles ended up off the roadway,. Airbags were deployed in both vehicles making primary contact.

The driver of the Mitsubishi Lancer which initially collided, appeared to have sustained minor injury to his foot. Though no life threatening injuries were reported, occupants involved appeared to be traumatized from the ordeal.

Officers from the Point Fortin Police arrived on the scene and are conducting investigatios.
