EARLY ACCIDENT ON DUNLOP STRETCH
One female passenger was reported to have sustained minor injury during an early morning accident on the Dunlop Stretch, leading in to Point Fortin, just after 7am on Thursday 24th October, 2019. The accident involved two Nissan Vehicles, an Almera and a B-14.
Witnesses state, both cars were travelling in a northerly direction when the B-14 attempted to turn into the Damus compound and was struck by the Almera which was overtaking another car which was also travelling in the same direction.
The Almera received frontal damages and its airbag was deployed, while the B-14 was pitched over the culvert and had damages to the rear portion of the vehiche.
The accident caused some delay to the early morning commute for motorists leaving and entering Point Fortin.
